Considering an All-Inclusive Resort For Your Destination Wedding? You Need To Read This.

Are you thinking about having a destination wedding and considering an all-inclusive resort as your venue? While an all-inclusive resort can offer many conveniences and benefits, there are also some important factors to consider before making your final decision. In this blog post, we'll explore some key considerations that can help you determine if an all-inclusive resort is the right choice for your dream wedding. If you're thinking about having a destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort, keep reading! This article is just for you.

Let's get into it!

#1. All-Inclusive Inclusions

You might be wondering what an all-inclusive resort includes. The all-inclusive offering includes lodging, all meals, all beverages (including alcoholic beverages), taxes, fees, and gratuities.

So you can head into a restaurant, sit down, open the menu, order two different meals (given that you can't decide), enjoy as many margaritas as you desire, and then wander out. When it comes to hosting a destination wedding party, the all-inclusive option is an excellent bonus for your wedding guests because they know the cost ahead of time and won't be surprised with a bill at check out!

#2. The Wedding Packages

I admire how customizable the all-inclusive wedding packages are, as well as the fun extras that can be added to make your wedding vision a reality. There are even packages available that guarantee you will be the only wedding for the weekend, as well as unique exclusive events for a full wedding weekend agenda. How cool is that?

#3. The Venue Options

These Instagram-worthy scenes could be the reason you're thinking about a destination wedding!

The options are what I believe make hosting your destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort so appealing. You could plan a welcome cocktail event, a white out party, a beach bonfire, a rehearsal dinner, (of course) your wedding and reception, and a farewell breakfast all at the same resort, but ALL in completely separate venues, offering you totally unique styles and experiences.

When I coordinate with clients, we invest a lot of time discussing the vision for the wedding and all of the private events. Keep in mind that due to capacity, certain places will not be suitable for your group, so be open.

#4. Less Stress

Imagine that on the day of your wedding, all that you and your family have to worry about is getting ready and showing up! There will be no setting up, no exhausting late nights ripping down and cleaning up, and no one will be heading back home after the celebration. Oh my, sheer happiness.

While you will have to make decisions when you are planning your wedding, once you arrive, you will meet with the wedding team and they will take things from there. You can actually relax and enjoy yourself with your guests, knowing that everything will come together and be even better than you could have planned for.

You can focus on each other instead of a list of things to do. You can focus on your guests and create memories with them!

#5. Having a Wed-cation!

If we all took note of the weddings we've went to throughout the years, some would stand out more than others.

Your wedding will live on in the memories of your friends and relatives. They will remember spending days celebrating with you rather than just five minutes of your time on one day. They'll recall how much fun you had on the catamaran cruise, playing beach volleyball, doing shots at the pool bar, dancing at the discotheque, having a spa day, golfing at an incredible course overlooking the ocean, and playing goofy games with the resort entertainment crew.

They'll recall the fantastic conversations they had during playing late-night card games, as well as all the "had to be there" moments.

A destination wedding is more than just a wedding; it is a wed-cation. And you don’t have to schedule every waking moment. That's the beauty of an all-inclusive: your guests may spend their time whatever they want, and everything they need is there at their fingertips.

#6. All The Amenities

If you were on the fence about a destination wedding, my guess is that I have you leaning toward a destination wedding. Well, hold on to your hats, ‘cuz it’s getting even better!

When set up correctly, hosting a group at an all-inclusive resort comes with a ton of benefits, freebies, and amenities.

This will vary by the size of your group, time of year, and any promotions, but let me share a few examples of what you can earn: free rooms, free events like a welcome cocktail, room upgrades, free wedding packages, honeymoon amenities like a candlelight dinner or breakfast in bed, and more.

Here’s the scoop - many couples don’t understand how this works, so they just let their guests know when and where the wedding is so that they can book their trips. The problem is that if your guests all book on their own, you won’t earn any of the amenities you should have.
Don’t let that happen to you! Consult with an expert.

#7. The Overall Value!

I suppose this is really just a summary of all the benefits I’ve shared, but I need to emphasize that you can get so much more for your money with a destination wedding. Between the wedding packages, the inclusions with the all-inclusive rate, the fact that it is less stressful, and all the amenities, it is a slam-dunk value!

Not to mention that your honeymoon is all wrapped into it (if you want). Whether you stay a few extra days or transfer to another resort in the area, your travel dollar goes beyond the wedding.

Choosing an all-inclusive resort for your destination wedding can be a great option for many couples. From stress-free planning to all-inclusive packages, there are many benefits to consider.  Now, more than ever, you don’t have to give up any of the qualities you are looking for while also getting extreme value at the same time.

If you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed and want to ensure you get the best value for your all-inclusive destination wedding,  I’d be delighted to have a FREE CONSULTATION SESSION with you! Together- we can plan the wedding of your dreams!
