Lately, I have been getting an uptick in honeymoon inquiries as well as family vacations. More and more people are ready to travel again. Which is a great sign that shows that we are starting to come back.

The inquires have been pretty consistent with people wanting to explore Hawaii which if you know me and my husband, you know that it is our top favorite destination to travel to. Been there 3 times, once on our honeymoon, and then again 11 months after that, and then a family vacation 1 year later.

We have been to Oahu and Maui. Rented cars on both islands and explored different areas of the islands. Places such as the North Shore to watch surfers in Oahu, the road to Hana, visiting the many waterfalls, black sand beach, climbing the mountains, did a volcano bike tour, and of course the many snorkeling excursions we took at Molichini.

We brought our own snorkels and visited many different beaches in Hawaii, which to me exploring the island with my husband was the best part. Turtles in Hawaii swim close to the shore, and most often they swim along with you. Every day was a new adventure. We just had a map and went exploring. We would ask the locals where the best spots were and we would go explore. We loved to stop at local food trucks and also explore restaurants that were a bit off the beaten path just so we could taste the different kinds of foods they had, at night we watched the sunset and in the day we watched the sunrise. It was simply breathtaking.

To all the brides planning their Honeymoons, if you talk to me you know I will always recommend Hawaii first.

Our last trip was about 3 years ago, since then we had two boys, and we both long for the day they are both old enough to take a trip to Hawaii. As I know it will be their favorite trip of all time.

To be continued.... with my boys in toe next trip!
